Welcome to Southside Metals.

My name is Randy Valentine and I have been the owner of Southside Metals since 1978. After completing my public education and then specialized technical training in welding, I worked as an apprentice for several years in a metal fabrication shop. In 1978, I decided to launch my own company and focus on the markets we currently serve.

The company was formed around the concepts that a small shop with low overhead could provide plenty of customer service, high quality products, and attention to detail; doing so at fair and reasonable prices.

In our 35+ years of service in the ornamental metalwork industry, we have handled all types of projects ---large and small--- for residential, commercial and industrial customers. We serve the central region of North Carolina and southern Virginia. Estimates are gladly provided at no charge.

We are committed to offering the best quality products and services. We take the time to find out what you need so that we may create a beautiful fence, gate or railing for your home or office building.
